Local Leap Marketing Wins 2026 Davey Award
Local Leap Marketing has earned a 2026 Davey Award in the Website Redesign category for our work on LiftWell Health’s website.
The winners of the 22nd Annual Davey Awards were announced on October 21, 2026, by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The awards celebrate creative work from small teams and independent creators, recognizing the big ideas that come from businesses like ours.
We’re proud of the recognition, but we’re just as proud of the project behind it: a website that brings thoughtful design to a business focused on helping people.
A Website Redesign With People in Mind
LiftWell provides behavioral health and family wellness services, including therapy, psychiatric support, nutritional care, and family-centered services. Its website introduces visitors to those services and helps them explore their options for support.
That makes the website more than a place to display information. Someone visiting may be looking for help for themselves, researching options for a family member, or trying to understand where to begin. The experience should feel welcoming, and the next step should be clear. The redesigned LiftWell website brings together approachable imagery, clear service descriptions, information about care approaches, and prominent opportunities to schedule an appointment. Visitors can learn about the organization while finding ways to connect with its team.
For us, that is where good design becomes meaningful. A beautiful website is worth celebrating, but the people using it should always remain the priority.
What the Davey Awards Recognize
The Davey Awards spotlight smaller agencies, creative teams, and independent creators producing exceptional work without the resources of the largest organizations. The program recognizes work across websites, design, video, marketing, social media, and other creative disciplines. Entries are reviewed by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts using criteria specific to each category. Every entry is evaluated on its own merit against a standard of excellence, with jurors considering elements such as creative, technical, and strategic achievement. That makes this recognition especially meaningful to our team. It celebrates the combination of creativity and practical thinking that goes into a website redesign, not simply how a finished page looks.
More Than a Fresh Look
At Local Leap, we believe a website redesign should do more than update colors, replace photos, or introduce a modern layout. It should help a business communicate more clearly with the people it wants to serve.
A useful way to think about a website is through the questions a visitor brings to it: What do you do? Can you help me? Why should I trust you? How do I get started?
Design, content, and navigation should work together to answer those questions. Every heading, page, and call to action has a role to play.
For a behavioral health organization, that means presenting information with clarity and care. For another business, it might mean explaining a complicated service, showcasing completed projects, or making it easier to request an estimate. The details change, but our philosophy stays the same: a website should serve the business by serving its visitors well.
Is Your Website Ready for Its Next Chapter?
Your website should reflect the quality of your business and make it easy for people to understand what you offer. Whether your current site feels dated, no longer represents your services, or makes visitors work too hard to find answers, a thoughtful redesign can be an opportunity to rethink the experience.
